Meet the Team.
Very remiss of me not to introduce the team but better late than never! We have two houses, the Fun House where the drinking and partying takes place and the dining house, where our breakfasts are prepared and those wishing an early, quiet night can retire.

The Fun House:
Chilly, from the Rotary Club of Jerrabomberra is our fearless leader and walks around with a clipboard or a piece of paper all day convinced he is in charge. Chilly lead the team last year and apparently was under the same misconception then as well.

Liz, my sister, is also from the Rotary Club of Jerrabomberra and when not painting is up helping the boys and keeping them in line. Liz is the social organizer for the evening meals and our weekend activities.

Grant is from the Rotary Club of Goulburn Mulwaree and was here last year as well. Grant works on the roof with the boys and enjoys a good joke or two.

Geoff is also from the Rotary Club of Goulburn and likes people to think he is a grumpy old bastard but he is a real sweetie. He has been working on the roof as well.

Keith is from the Rotary Club of Queanbeyan and is our resident sparkie. Keith started in the classroom and prepared the electric cables prior to the roof being put up. He is now preparing the other classrooms for the chicken wire to keep the pigeons out.

Steve, my brother, and Diane are from Jalbarragup South of Perth. Steve is a former Rotarian from Kalgoorlie, however since moving to JB, is a one hour drive from the nearest Rotary Club, so is in the local CFA. Steve has been working on the classroom roof with the boys. Steve also enjoys the odd joke sometimes at the expense of the other team members. Diane has also turned her hand to painting and is one half of the team repairing and replacing louvres.

Phil is from the Rotary Club of Canberra and is the Team photographer. Phil is our first house evictee. He evicted himself from the Fun House and has been fighting it ever since. Phil is the other half of the team putting up the security wire.

And of course Me! I am the President of the Rotary Club of Jerrabomberra and the Blog Master. I too have dabbled in a bit of painting and am the other half of the team repairing the louvres. I spend most of my time avoiding the evening meal!

The Dining House:
Michelle and Eddie are from the Rotary Club of Canberra. Eddie is part of the boys’ team working on the classroom roofs. Michelle is a dab hand at painting and also one half of the team putting up the chicken wire.

Kathryn and Gerry are from the Rotary Club of Torquay and former members of the Jerrabomberra Club. Katherine relieves people from painting and also helped out with the wire. Gerry started the whole Tonga Project 5 years ago and is here to hopefully see it through to fruition. Gerry is one half of the team putting up the security wire above the classrooms.

Shirley and John are from the Rotary Club Moruya. Shirley has dabbled in a bit of painting and is the other half of the team doing the chicken wire. John is also one of the painters and formed one half of the team painting the chipboard for the roof. Shirley enjoys a dance or two as does John.
