Day 6 at the School

Steve, Eddie, Geoff, Grant and the token chick, Mez (!) worked tirelessly on the roof of the second classroom.  The work doesn’t get any easier, though practice does make the work much slicker. Liz and Michelle have started to tile the floor of the first classroom and then Shirley and Diane joined them. Liz and Diane partnered and Michelle and Shirley partnered and what a team. It was back and knee breaking work and kudos to the girls for an outstanding job. Gerry, Phil and Rick finished the security grating at the front of the classrooms and announced they have enough to start on the back of the classrooms.
A couple of Blog moments:
There was great discussion regards the measure twice, cut once theory and who was to blame for the resubmits. Grant the cutter blamed Steve the measurer and Steve the measurer blamed Grant the cutter.
Michelle was in the Party house having a G&T prior to dinner and got up and headed back to the food house saying she was going to see if Eddie could dress himself. Katherine asked if he was injured and Michelle said, we’ll see.
Grant put the T-bar to good use when the girls washed the floor in the first classroom and some of the solution spilled out onto the veranda creating a slip hazard. Grant wrote Stop on one side and Slow on the other and did the lollipop lady thing whenever anyone approached the danger zone.
Dinner was at the Emerald Restaurant.
