- Our last working day at the
school, the plan is to finish at about lunchtime and head into town for
lunch rather than the mums prepare lunch for us again and maybe do a bit
of shopping.
- The boys, Steve and Grant,
finished off putting the tiles around the edge of the classrooms. The
rooms were so uneven that the girls were not able to tile from corner to
corner.
- A Blog moment: Steve and Grant tried to exit the classroom at the same time, facing each other. To Steve's horror, he was worried their boy bits would touch... then remembered their collective bellies and realized not a chance in hell!!
- There was lots of sweeping,
tidying, putting away tools, moving saw horses and planks down to the
spare classrooms.
- There was finishing off of
the pegs for many backpacks.
- Shirley mopped the first
classroom floor multiple times.
- Mez was working on the Blog
and Chilly was doing the Chilly thingy…posing...it was all
go..go..go..
- The floor and ceilings are complete...
- Michelle is organizing the school supplies she tee'ed up in Australia
- We finished as planned and
headed into town for lunch. There was some shopping to be done and a bit
of walking around but unfortunately the coffee shop with the best coffee
in Tonga was closed for a few days and we were not happy.
- Dinner was at the Frangipani
with the Tongan Rotary Club.
