A leisurely start to our Saturday before heading off to check out some of the sights. We saw the Royal Palace and the Royal Graves...
Apparently there was someone home... the roads were closed.
Yup
and this was as close as we got to the grave....
- Ricky took us down to what he considered was the best beach in Tonga and we got a bit of a surprise when we stumbled upon a family out fishing with a rubber tire tube.
- And of course all the graves which are amazing. The cemeteries are the most colorful I have ever seen and dotted throughout the 'burbs. Some are actually in between houses!
- Then we headed off to Tonga's answer to Stonehenge....
and Rick said kick your heels up!
and now we are serious
big rock
- and then we checked out the natural bridge... amazing!
Pretty amazing, hey?
Lizzie on one side
Chilly on the other
- And then we headed to a resort for lunch. We were a wee bit late and had a bit of a limited menu, but enjoyed by most!
How you doin'
Do we have a hair issue here Geoff?
- Again those who wished to dine ... we didn't have lunch till about 3pm ... went to The Billfish.
